Divided We Fall
I have been feeling increasingly uncomfortable about the schisms developing in this country between the left and the right. It seemed to have reached a fever pitch years ago, during the height of the Bush administration. But in the last two months following the inauguration of Barack Obama, this schism has appeared to have widened.

New Drink!
Hey so recently I discovered that a bakery in the food court at my building sells Arnold Palmers (1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade). Long story short, I’m hooked. But in my neverending quest to turn every drink in to a cocktail, I have come up with (hopefully) a brand-new libation. Are you ready? Are you sitting down? Good, here goes:
I call it the “John Daly”. It’s an Arnold Palmer with 2 oz of Crown Royal in it (more or less to taste. If you are the real John Daly, make it 6 oz).

Why Here? Why Now?
So you may be asking yourself (or not, let’s be realistic here) “why has Mike set up a blog over at wordpress.com when he has his own blog over at asavagebydesign.com?”
The answer my friends, is twofold. I shall describe the two reasons here:
- Sheer flipping boredom
The boredom comes from both overall lack of a social life currently (well not really, just a lack of sex) and from the fact that I just get bored easily. Gotta problem with that?
- My web-geek personality wanted to test it out
I have been working mostly in secret on a couple of new projects, the details of which I cannot freely divulge at this time. Suffice to say that I decided I wanted to learn more about how wordpress.com worked.
